Hugh and Joan enjoyed their many Bridge Clubs and traveling together, especially on the bus trips with the First Baptist Church. Hugh was also a member of the Aledo School Board, serving as President a member of the Aledo Exchange Club and an active member of College Avenue Presbyterian Church where he served many capacities, including: Elder, Deacon and Treasurer.
